Go running in the Lake District
The instinct to run is born into all of us and is something we can all experience. Running takes us outside and sets us free. It doesn't have to be hard. It doesn't have to be against the clock. You can run easy.
There can be few places that are better to run in the UK than in the Cumbria Lake District. But where should you go? There's so much to choose from and it's so easy to get lost. Why not come on a guided run?
Take a guided gentle runs around Lake District trails, lanes and footpaths. Enjoy the scenery, relax mentally and benefit from the not-too-strenuous exercise. Fun to run and nice to chat with other people who love the sport. The routes are typically 6 - 8 miles and up to 2 hours duration. They're suitable for anyone who can run this sort of distance. They're not races! Faster runners can either take it easy or loop back to the main group.
How?
Contact John Edmondson (see Contact page). A run or series of runs can be arranged according to group preferences.
Suggested start/finish places: Staveley Mill Yard, Sizergh Castle, Windermere Tourist Information Centre, Bowness Tourist Information Centre, Brockhole.
Alternative times and places can be arranged to suit.
Sight impaired? No problem. I'm a trained guide for the visually impaired.
